Here are more mizuhiki box decorations from yesterday’s post.
To me, mizuhiki and chiyogami are perfect versatile items that can pretty much dress up anything you like. Combine the two and you get a truly beautiful and unique look every time.
Use and resuse them for different things, whether you want it for gift wrapping, a fashion accessory, stationery decoration or home decor, they just work so well!
I was happy to look through my remaining mizuhiki and gift boxes from Japan today. I really love the design and color combinations of mizuhiki and how quickly they add a beautiful decorative look to pretty much anything.
I’ll post more mizuhiki gift box decorations tomorrow too!
Three years ago I met a handsome man In Japan and knew there was something very special about him.
He took me to Kamakura and I’m sure if anime type things could come true, you would have seen hearts in my eyes that day.
I thank him for his tender care and loving support in everything I do. I hope for more wonderful years to come!
This afternoon, three large hawks flew down past my window and actually gave me an exhillirating fright since their combined wingspan took over two of the large doors and produced a sudden blast of darkness.
They flew over to the building across from us and just sat there as I tried to snap close shots of them.
I always love to see them soar in the sky because it looks so peaceful, graceful and free.
Got up early and went for a quick ride by the lake before getting some groceries for breakfast. It’s always so refreshing to go out in the mornings though I do feel bad for all the people who a moving slowly in the morning traffic. I used to be one of them and I really don’t want to go back to that kind of life.
No picture for this one yet but I’ll get to work on something nice soon *^_~*
