These mini cards are an absolute delight. There is a girl dressed in a colourful chiyogami kimono, holding a janomegasa, which is a traditional Japanese umbrella. Usually made of thick oiled washi, they were very common in the past.
Each card is made of hand folded chiyogami paired with kingin (gold and silver) washi and textured black paper for the hair and geta (Japanese wooden clogs). There is drawn detail added to the janomegasa as well as lovely ornaments in the girl’s hair.
All cards include a handmade white envelope and are available in singles and sets of four.
